Chapter Fourteen - Life goes on

The Vulcan Enclave is all sorts of weird and lonely now that Tommek and Breanna have gone to the big laboratory in the sky. But this story isn't just about them. It is also about thier descendants, who despite being related aren't really taking the deaths too hard. In fact, no-one has cried like a little girl yet.... well aside from me. With all the excitement I didn't really give the twins the chance to introduce their new teenaged selves, so without further ado, I give you generation three!

Name: Chardonnay Vulcan
Aspiration: Family
Star Sign: Taurus
LTW: Graduate 3 children from College
Turn-ons: Facial Hair, Great Cook Turn-off: Formal wear
Personality: 6 Neat, 8 Outgoing, 5 Active, 7 Playful, 5 Nice

Name: Hennessy Vulcan
Aspiration: Knowledge
Star Sign: Gemini
LTW: Become Media Magnate
Turn-ons: Fitness, Mechancial Skill Turn-off: Custom Hair
Personality: 5 Neat, 7 Outgoing, 8 Active, 4 Playful, 4 Nice
(I was only joking about his turn-ons before, mostly cos it was funnier)

"Mmmm mmm mmm mmmmm. I want to have that mans babies!"

Chardonnay!

"What? I'm a family sim. And you saw the face he was randomly generated with."

You're also jail bait at the moment deary. Wait til college and we'll see if you have any chemistry. Although I would have preferred a blond.

"So that's why I'm busting my gut with all this skill building."

Yup.

As Brandi gets older, her wardrobe shrinks. I am beginning to believe she only owns underwear and the occasional bikini.

No wait! I lied! She does have real clothes.

"Mum, you're kinda weirding me out, what's with the clothes already?"

"So Hen you heard about the local air pollution?"

"Nooooo?"

"Apparently *pfffit* There's a big cloud of noxious green gas headed your way."

"Euw!"

Of course just cos the twins are older doesn't mean that they have any less love and respect for each other.

While mourning the loss of Tommek the idea of having a shop of some description really began to plague me. Those crazy kids had nearly 100,000 simoleons lying around anyways, so I figured, why not start a family shop. I had Bryn name it 'Vulcan & Sons Trading Company' in honor of his recently deceased father. As you can see it is a quaint little Victorian inspired number, in a very manly pastel purple.

Seriously though, Bryn kicks booty as a sales guy. He rocketed through those badges like a knife through hot-butter. I think having every customer swoon over him helped as well. Poor Brandi was stuck womaning the register, and still hasn't even managed to get bronze. I hate the registers, they take too long.

Yay, this looks good. To be honest, I started playing WoW around the beginning of 2006, so I really didn't get much of a chance to play any expansion packs after Nightlife. But I'm back to the Sims now, so I'll get excited over stuff everyone else has known about for a couple of years! Like Snapdragons. Go snapdragons!

At the end of the day they had made enough money to install a couple of elevators, which of course meant a serious round of safety testing by senior management (who still have the option to try for baby....they are going to live forever!)

"More Woohoo?"

"Totally!"

"Woohoo!"

"Took the words right outta my mouth babe!"

"Teeheehee!"

Yeah, these two are never going to slow down. Bryn has a permanent 'woohoo in hot tub' want which refreshes every single time. I know, those crazy perma-plat kids went for it 5 times in the tub, and it spun up again every single time. Easy rewards points I guess.

Wotcha doin Bryn?

"Redesigning the store. It came to my attention that my handler was incapable of running a multi-story store, so, I thought I'd help her out."

Thoughtful of you.

"I know, I'm a thoughtful kinda guy."

Yeah, I saw what you did in college don't forget.

"Yeah but I thoughtfully made sure that none of them ran into each other didn't I?"

This is the design we've managed to come up with for the time being. I still don't like it. I'll probably change it again in the next lot of screens, but that'll make for an interesting storyline. The store can be like a kind of Tardis, where it changes for the heck of it. But for now, I guess it will have to do.

We'll take a short intermission here, feel free to grab some munchies and drinks and we'll be right back with chapter 15 (already! No way, then again I've been playing this family for a month now, it totally doesn't feel like it.)

Great looking teens! I like the store also, too bad the multi story business didn't work out. It was a great looking house!
