Chapter Twenty Nine - On the Road again.

I know I said I didn't really have much time to play (let alone blog) but I have been using the Sims to relax a lot recently, and thusly I have a few photographs to share with everyone. So, another double whammy from the Vulcan Household.

I don't usually show the load screen, cos lets face it, after about 3 1/2 years staring at the thing it is kinda boring. But it does illustrate nicely the fact that we need people to die because the house is far too full. But I digress, apparently Bryn and Brandi are going to live forever.

As promised this is the Free Time episode. It took a while, but I eventually discovered that wee Elspeth is likes a bit of a jig on the fiddle device. One down, 6 to go!

Apparently Spiffy and Buster were thinking about living forever, then decided to maybe try the growing old thing as bit of a lark. Spiffy goes first.

"...so then I said, 'You're so dumb you'll probably end up driving my grand-kids to school'...."

*Copious laughter.*

"I started my career driving school buses young lady."

*Silence*

Ah, the age old Headmasters visit on the night the toddler transitions. And of course knowing how Sims works, that probably was the logical starting point for an aspiring headmaster. Despite Mhairi's story, the outcome is pretty much guaranteed.

With the headmaster stalking out immediately after the meal is finished. At least the kids scored a sweet ride on the Private School bus I guess.

"That fatty is no grandchild of mine!"

"Actually mom, thats our youngest. Marcas."

"You should be training him better. No grandchild of mine would let himself go so disgracefully."

"Knock it off Mom, you know it was his first solid, non-glowing meal."

"I CAN hear you, you know."

I just love these speical family bonding moments. They make my day completely.

"Not you too. Quick, get up stairs to the Excercycle before your grandmother sees you."

Mhairi ages into a plump little fortune sim. She wants to be a criminal mastermind. I want her to be a spare. It works out.

Ah-ha! Another hobby pinpointed! Bryn really really likes his science. He even got abducted during his first night at the telescope, however an unfortunate series of events mean that the event was unrecorded. Aside from Brandi's constant fear of either her or Bryn getting abducted, there appears to be little in the way of permanent consequences.

Meanwhile, Ian also has developed a love for music and dance....

....which brings him even closer to his dancing pirate princess.

Content to be the odd one out, Brandi prefers more crafty endeavors. I think it's because the potting wheel shows off her enhanced and unsaggy cleavage.

Buster joins Spiffy in old age! Yay! Not that I'm not awaiting the deaths of everyone with baited breath or anything.

Yeah. Marcas likes song and dance too. Yawn.

For the first time in her life, Brandi has managed to succeed at something before anyone else. Of course, she hasn't even gotten a bronze badge in pottery yet...I dunno why.

Elspeth rock on up into Teenagerhood in bright fluro PJ's. She rolled Pleasure, and wants to get paid to party (And thusly she has become the heir! easy peasy lemon squeezy)

Why so grumpy Bryn?

"I'm not grumpy, I'm just trying to read the big words in this magazine."

But you're an educated man!

"I don't know if you paid attention or not, but I slept my way through College."

Oh. Yeah.

"Way to use the potty sis!"

"Uh thanks. I guess."

Yeah some of the things they want to congratulate each other on boggle the mind.

"Hey Mhairi"? How'd you spell YMCA again?"

Yeah, somethings I think Elspeth should have been blonde. And then, other times, I know she should have been. There's just something about her features (and the make-up I gave her) that makes her seem clueless. Add that to the fact she's the slowest skill builder ever, and we have a ditz. Can't wait to see her in action!

(Oh and the title is an allusion to the fact the Vulcans moved again, similar style to the house that I have pictured, but slightly smaller, and less laggy at the sevenses.)
